Best LED Flood I've Tried Feb 07, 2009
I agree with another review that the output is less than you'd expect. However, you need to account for the color range of LED versus standard bulbs as the human eye is not equally sensitive to all colors. In other words, even with the same lumen rating some lights appear brighter than others. That said, this is the first LED flood I've bought that my wife didn't immediately demand I remove. The light is nice, like indirect sunlight. My man issue is that LEDs are very directional and so the beam is much tighter than our old bulbs, which leaves some of the corners dim.

I do NOT have this light, I have purchased several others and this light at 9W is VERY OVERRATED, please be carefull as this seller has other lights that are OVERRATED and people have complained.

I am converting a mill to a business. I had a bunch of the incandescent bulbs in recessed lighting. I wanted to shift the color in the room to natural light and reduce energy cost. These are the answer.
I tried other lousy vendors from "Amazon Partners" for securing these LED bulbs. These guys are wonderful.
As for the brightness, they are replacing 65w bulbs and I found the LED bulbs brighter than the 65w bulbs.
Color shift - These bulbs are a color shift to daylight. It is not the warm glow you get from an incandescent. I use these to supplement "Sola-tubes" and for night lighting. I have a large space for artists. I need this type of lighting. You may miss the warm glow of an incandescent when you switch to this bulb. If you are an artist, it is a nice substitute or filler for daylight.
Price - They are expensive, but the cheaper ones are not as nice.

The photos of this item make it hard to tell that there is a nice, very clear glass cover. I called the manufacturer to confirm before ordering. Very nicely made.
