CFL/LED Dimmers Sep 15, 2009 i'm not an electrician or anyting but i was told to be careful when using those on/off at dusk timers for these bulbs. since LED and CFL bulbs have built-in ballasts, you may end up destroying the bulb. i've seen "dimmable" LED's and CFL's out there, but am not sure how that works in conjunction with a dimmer yet.

Nice Nightlight May 07, 2009 It has a nice ambient glow to it but don't think you are going to use it as a reading light. I knew by the other revews it would be dim. I was hopeing to use it on my porch but the circuit in the atomatic light(comes on at dusk), will not let it work. CFL will not work either. I wish someone would make an CFL or LED light that will work with these circuits!
