 Weak signal among other issues Jul 21, 2010
We purchased this monitor based off of some word of mouth recommendations and against my better judgement after reading online reviews. Unfortunately the online reviews were right. We don't have a large house but the signal did not reach from our upstairs to our downstairs area and the monitor kept freezing up. This was the biggest issue and if it had a strong signal I could have looked past other issues but once we realized it wasn't going to work for us we started noticing other things we didn't like about it. One issue is that in order for the sound to work, the monitor screen needs to be on. I don't want a bright monitor screen glowing all night but would like the option for just sound. Also, the lights on the camera did seem to be very sensitive to movement and would go on randomly in my daughter's room. The concept of this monitor is great but unfortunately it just didn't meet our needs.

So I am in general happy with a picture, sound and battery charge.
What I am really dissapointed about is the fact that the cameras has to be alway on a DC power plug. I planed to put in outsite on a pushchair when baby sleeps in a garden.
I cannot!
What is really annoing is also that the monitor is alway on ? Why ? when there is no movement there is no need! You can save the battery, with monitor ON all the time batter gets flat in few hours.
I also expected that you can permanetly turn off the IR or night light but fine.
I am also suprised not to see switches on a DC power cord. Why does it needs to be on power all the time... Energy people!!! save energy.
I dont know who designed this but I need workarround how to plug it to external battery to run in without adaptor, can anybody help ? please ?
I would appreciate it.

Product and description didn't match what was shipped to me. Product did not work properly when arrived. When I contacted Sellers he didn't want to replace. He stated that this is how all of them work. Contacted manufacturer and they said just bad unit and seller should replace. Wouldn't suggest buying this baby monitor from DBoth. Talk to 4UCAM instead for units that work like they should. They also don't trick you with product images and descriptions. Also after being offered to return the product for full refund I was threated by seller that with full refund I would have to remove feedback about my experience with them.

We bought two cameras for our two children's rooms. The concept of this camera is nice, but the quality of sound is terrible! We had to buy another monitor for each room to hear them. The image is fine. The lights come on in the middle of the night, very bright in little baby faces! They come on because of movement in the room...like the furnace or AC air coming on. The power cord split and came away within a few months of purchasing it. We bought a universal cord and it didn't work very well. After only using these "cute" flowers in our children's rooms a few months...we are very frustrated w/ the quality and lack of decent monitors on the market. It's too bad they don't make a nice monitor that doesn't cost the same as full home security system. Quite disappointing!

All you need to do is read the title. It looks to be good but as soon as i turn it on it knocks out my wireless router, cell phone cut off, IMAC started to restart. No joke i have never seen anything like it. Trying to send this thing back
