 Great way to stay in touch with kids Feb 12, 2010
I bought these for my young sons. They're out and about in the neighborhood, inside and outside, but these things work great. I can contact them to be sure they're safe, to call them home, to convey a message, etc. If you don't believe little ones should have cell phones, I recommend you get these!

These are very well I use them for bike patrol in the summer and they work great when requesting Police, Fire, and EMS. I've saved many lifes requsting EMS with these they come in very handy when needed.

I bought these for my 11 yr old son and he's really enjoyed them. He and my husband did I test to see if it would work just 2-3 miles from the house but they didn't. So he mostly just uses them around here, which was my intention when I got them. We do live in an area that is very hilly, so I'm not sure if that's what the problem is. Either way, they work great for just playing in the neighborhood and it comes in crystal clear.

The product seems ok - but it is hard to tell because one of the batteries was not working. Charging for 24+ hours resulted in nothing. Since it was the Christmas holiday, the company was closed until yesterday. I called, and after a little runaround, a new battery is now being sent to me. I will be able to tell more about the product when both radios are in working order.
