The Nikon D90 SLR Digital Camera, features a 12.3-megapixel DX-format CCD, 3" High resolution LCD display, Scene Recognition System, Picture Control, Active D-Lighting, and one-button Live View. Nikon's EXPEED image processing engine delivers outstanding images. The D-Movie mode records 720p HD movie clips. Nikon's Scene Recognition System advances precision in auto focus, auto exposure, and auto white balance in diverse shooting situations. The Live View mode allows for users to frame their images on the large 3" high resolution color LCD - providing for easy image framing, even when shooting at odd angles.
The Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm VR lens features built-in Vibration Reduction II system providing equivalent shutter speeds 3 steps faster than standard lenses. It also has one ED glass element and one aspherical lens element, optimized for use with DX-format SLRs. The VR system & ED glass allow you to make highly-resolved, crisp images with minimal chromatic aberration. Lastly, the lens' ultra-compact Silent Wave Motor allows for blazingly quick, silent autofocus.

I like it very much ! But I don't know why the picture on the camera screen looks much better than it looks on the computer screen. Anyway ,the camera is very good !

If you don't own one, you should! I've been a film guy my whole life. This Nikon has changed that. I still use my film Nikon but, 'welcome to the 21st century.'

Love the camera and all it's features. I am still learning a lot of the manual features, but have not figured out how to put the date on the pictures. I am highly impressed with the flash on the camera. This D90 outfit is everything a beginner could need and more, and you can't go wrong for the price. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone!

 D90 outfit from Cameta Camera poor Feb 03, 2010
bought it from Cameta camera. When it arrived inspected the shipment. Found that 1) the 23 dollar Guide to SLR photograhpy was out of date. Did not even mention the D90 camera in it. Guide appeard to be USED . 2)The remote was not the Nikon ML-l3. Instead it showed up on the emailed invoice as a off discount brand remote from zeiks that did not work. When I called I was told I didn't know how to set it up. Then I was told go go buy a new battery... very degrading remarks from the dealer about my abilities (took it to the local camera store and they just laughed saying the remote was junk... battery was Ok on their tester) Called and tried to return it and was directed to their return policy even thought they said they have a 30 day return. Agent their said he would exchange it for another one (why would I want a new piece of junk when I had the old one already that didn't work) but I would have to pay the 6 bux shipping. (thing is only worth $1.298 to begin with)
Picture shows the Nikon camera bag. What I got was a kodak bag that was smaller and the camera and lense did not fit. Again I was degraded because I didn't know how to place the camera.. even after I called the same day I got it.... the agent swore that the camera and lense would fit. His words were send it back but again refered to the return policy of exchanges or restocking charges if it was in the orginal non opened wrap'er. (little hard to do if you try to put the camera and lens in it.. huh... gotcha)
Let the buyer be ware as this sure has a lot of items that were switched for cheaper manufacture, useless surplus junk.
