The Valentine One is one of the highest performing radar detectors on the market. One reason for this is multiple radar antennas! The only other detector with two radar antennas is the Bel STi Driver, but in the STi both antennas face forward. In the Valentine One, there is one forward antenna and one rear-facing antenna. Using this combination of antennas, it effectively tells you the band and strength of the radar signal, along with the number of "bogeys," or radar units being detected. It will also tell you what direction the signal is coming from, and provide the best rear detection out of every other windshield-mounted detector on the market. Even when this sounds too good to be true, there's more. The Valentine One has excellent laser reception, consistently appearing at the top of tests in this category. In addition to the super high-performance of Valentine's detector, this model will never become obsolete. The very first Valentine detectors from 1992 look identical to the ones today, and can be sent in to Valentine to be updated with the latest hardware and software (charges may apply). If you decide on a Valentine One, you'll be in good hands with the same detector for the rest of your life.

5Great product  Jul 01, 2010
This our 3rd purchase of a valentine radar. I love using it and can't remember how many times it saved me from a ticket.

1Valentine One Radar Detector  Jun 25, 2010
I purchased my first Valentine One in 2001. I purchased a second one in May of 2010 because my original detector was not working properly after 9 years.

The new detector was shipped to me and was defective. After calling the Valentine One Customer Service Department, I shipped the defective detector back to the their factory. The Valentine One Customer Service Staff did not reimburse me for my shipping charges back to the factory.

Clearly, They are more interested in saving money than having a satisfied customer. I will purchase a different radar detector the next time.

5Awesome  Jun 05, 2010
First like everyone else way expensive but in the end worth no matter what. I read the guys comment on how it goes off every 15-30 secs well thats because it picks up all types of radar bands x-l l=laser. Also I know up in Reno our local police not NHP use K band where alot of states use K1 like the NHP. So if you get a K band signal which is also linked to businesses well you have to distinguish which sucks but since I use it every day I know how many K bands should be in any given area. Second I found that if it doesn't go off one its defective or two the guy doesn't have his radar on. The V1 is a superb unite. I and my dad use it every day, and neither of us have had a ticket while using it. I have done 150+ and it saved me on the run. if you have problems its either operator error or defective unite. I say buy if you want to avoid a ticket.

2WHERE'S THE GPS? PHOTO & RED LIGHT CAMERA DETECTION? SOFTWARE UPDATES? USB?  May 03, 2010
No GPS, No Photo Camera or Red Light Camera Detection and No software upgradeability via the Internet (it doesn't even have a USB port).

Dumped it on eBay and bought a Passport Escort 9500IX and couldn't be happier :)

5Great product!  Apr 26, 2010
Great Product. Extremely sensitive. Does send many false alarms, however it has already saved me from a few tickets.
