2-way home interface May 18, 2009 Needed a new interface to replace one I've been using for several years. Luckily they are still available. This was the best price I could find.
Great X10 Controller and Great Price Apr 15, 2009 Works with linux (heyu application). Serial may be a problem for some folks with newer mobo's that don't have a 9 pin serial d-shell on it. No S/W so if your expecting an out of the box solution look somewhere else. No instructions, but then again, if you're doing X10 stuff and looking for a serial linux compatible solution you won't be looking for instructions out of the box. Price was a big factor. Under $20 with shipping. Nothing else came close. Cheapest solution on X10 site was around $50 and not guaranteed to work in linux.
Junk Mar 05, 2009 I've had two of them fail, after the crappy one year warranty was up. I woulnd't buy anything else from X10. It's only a marketing company - witness their bling-bling web site with everything ON SALE every day. Gimme a break. They don't give a damn about customers.

CM11A works great with Linux Nov 13, 2008 Simple, cheap and reliable.
The best part for me is that it works great in Linux. If you run Linux and want a recommendation of software to use with the CM11A, check out "heyu".
Good. Jun 09, 2008 I use it to automate one TV in my Cyber Coffe And Games. I make a software to control the time for my clients, turning on and off whenever the user consume his time. A motion detector send signals to the Transceiver, and the transceiver send to the line. When this interface receive the signal, it send me an email notifying me that one area of my office has movements, "Only on non-working hours".
