Sore Marine (Camp Lejeune, NC USA)
......."I'm in the military, so I carry it to and fro in the rear pocket of the Day-Glo motorcycle vest the DoD mandates we wear when riding. This morning my bike and I went down hard, and my Reader came out of it without a ding or scratch. The case was dented and scraped, but the Reader was perfect"........
Does not work with the PRS-ACL1 lighted cover.

Great PRS 600 Case Oct 21, 2009 I was worried when I bought this case because the case does not mention anything about being compatible with the new Sony PRS600. However, I took the risk and I am glad I did. This case fits the SONY Reader Touch Edition with its neoprene case on quite snugly. Great protection while traveling. I highly recommend it as a case if you travel a lot or are worried about how fragile the reader is.

Too weak to protect anything! May 14, 2009 I can't believe it received so many good reviews. This case is just way too weak to protect the ebook reader. I was looking for strong metal case so that I can just pack with bunch of other books and stuff so even it gets squeezed, the case would protect it. But this case is so weak -- feels like it's weaker than Altoid case. My son's plastic toy brief case is stronger than this. Very disappointed.
Not great, but does the job. Feb 13, 2009 Echoing what has been said - this case isn't amazing, but it does what it's supposed to do, and its aesthetic matches that of the Reader fairly well.

There are other BETTER options for about the same money Jan 15, 2009 Oh, don't even waste your money on this. The metal is thinner than an Altoids tin and you really, really need to spend your hard-earned cash on their other product, the BookArmor. Ok, the BookArmor isn't metal, but in my humble opinion it does a better job protecting the delicate Sony Reader screen. I bought this and the BookArmor both, and upon examining both, there was absolutely no contest. While metal sounds like the better option, TRUST ME -- the reinforced plastic BookArmor is definitely the better choice.

Fine for what it is Dec 07, 2008 This is essentially a form fitting metal box with a dense foam liner. It seems to do a fine job protecting my PRS-500. The price seems high, but I've not found a better price for a comparable item, and the Sony e-Reader line is notorious for having easily damaged screens.
